Earlier Version System Requirements (TASKey TEAM 3.6.3)

TASKey TEAM 3.6.3 uses three main components:

  • a Database server (MS-SQL server)
  • a Web Server
  • Client Machines

For installations up to 50 concurrent client sessions the Database server and Web Server may be run on the same computer.

Over 50 concurrent client sessions it is recommended that separate computers be used for the Database server and Web Servers.

Further scaling using Network Load Balancing can be used for very large numbers of users or high availability solutions.

Client Web Browser Requirements

  • Screen resolution: 800x600 (1024x768 recommended)
  • Colour depth: 256 colours (High Color or better highly recommended)
  • Both Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled
  • Pop-up/Ad blocker set to not block any TASKey TEAM pages.
  • If your browser does not have "play animation in web pages" ticked under Internet Options -> Advanced -> Mutimedia (in list)...then you cannot see the Print icons when you open/generate a normal TEAM report (eg. ToDo List)

2) For sites without Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or greater, the MSDE (Microsoft Data Engine) database may be deployed. MSDE database server is a cut-down version of SQL Server, and is tuned for small numbers of users. Microsoft allows TASKey Pty Ltd to provide MSDE royalty free with TASKey TEAM (subject to you accepting Microsoft's conditions in the MSDE license agreement). If you license Microsoft SQL Server at a later stage, the data in MSDE can be transferred to the new database server. For sites without Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or greater, TASKey TEAM can be downloaded with MSDE included.
