28 Mar Why Use WorkNav
WorkNav is a little gem. It takes a little effort to understand, but the pay-off is huge.
I didn’t want to have to learn project management. I just wanted to get my work done with a minimum of time and effort.
I hated planning and kept putting it off, even though I know it is important. The WorkNav simple plan on a page is unbelievably simple. All I have to do is fill in some boxes and the plan is done.
The best thing is that I have most of the plan information is already in my head, but I find it hard to explain to other people. By filling in the live plan on a page boxes, I create a plan that I can understand whenever I look at it. Plus I can send it to other people who keep asking me what I am doing. When they see that I know what I am doing they stop asking me what is happening.
The way task plans on a page fit together to create bigger plans is outstanding. All team members have a plan that we can understand and implement. But we can see how we fit into the bigger plan.
It is really annoying when I think of plans I have tried to work off in the past, when I spent a lot of time trying to work out what is happening and what I need to do. If I had had WorkNav, I wouldn’t have had to waste a lot of the time and experience the frustrations of not being certain about what I needed to do.
Now that I have WorkNav, I can plan in minutes and keep my To Do list and other people’s To Do lists coordinated with each other and our plans. It sounds simple and it is with WorkNav, but it is not with other solutions. I am glad I found WorkNav and spent some time learning how it leaves other solution for dead.
